Tiernan Sittenfeld
Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, League of Conservation Voters
Tiernan Sittenfeld directs the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) policy and lobbying efforts on a range of issues, including climate change, energy, air, water, and land. She oversees LCV’s legislative accountability campaigns and the National Environmental Scorecard. Tiernan also leads the LCV Action Fund Coordinated Team, including all candidate endorsements and endorsement communications, direct contributions, and coordinated field programs.
Before joining LCV in 2005, Tiernan worked for the U.S. Public Interest Research Group (U.S. PIRG) as the Preservation Advocate. Prior to that, she worked for OSPIRG and CALPIRG.
Tiernan is a graduate of Dartmouth College. She lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband and two sons.
