Kristen Brengel
Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, National Parks Conservation Association
Kristen Brengel has 20 years of experience working to ensure National Park Service laws and policies are upheld and implemented to best protect all national park units. She leads National Park Conservation Association (NPCA) staff on public land conservation, natural and cultural resource issues, and park funding.
Kristen has co-led several successful legislative efforts to increase park funding including the Great American Outdoors Act, the National Park Service Centennial Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act. From recreation management to establishing new park units — including Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument and Belmont-Paul Women’s Equality National Monument — Kristen is passionate about conservation and historic preservation to ensure future generations can enjoy our spectacular public lands and cultural sites.
Kristin received her B.A. in political science from Rutgers University.
