Alicia Kolar Prevost (she/her)

Executive Director

Alicia’s career spans more than two decades working in politics, advocacy, and academia. As Executive Director of the Partnership Project, she brings a deep commitment to supporting the people and organizations striving to protect our environment. Alicia was the founding Director of Defend Our Future, a groundbreaking campaign of the Environmental Defense Fund to mobilize young voters around climate change. She also helped create and launch the Climate Action Campaign, a historic nationwide effort to curb carbon pollution from power plants, which is also one of the Partnership Project’s most successful partners. Before joining the Partnership Project, Alicia was Director of the Voter Study Group, an initiative of Democracy Fund whose goal is to better understand the American electorate through public opinion polling and analysis.

Alicia has also worked at the Democratic National Committee and the Institute of Politics at Harvard University. She is an adjunct professor at American University’s School of Public Affairs and an instructor at the Campaign Management Institute. Alicia has a PhD from American University, MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School, and BA from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Born and raised in Redford Township, Michigan, Alicia now lives with her family in Garrett Park, Maryland.
